The article shows the various stages that the American democracy has passed through the years and the danger it is involved with because of corruption from i8nfluential blocks. Gore argues that the members of the American sphere are dependent on falsehood as the backbone of policy making (Gore, 1). Donââ¬â¢t waste time! Our writers will create an original "The Assault on Reason by Al Gore" essay for you Create order He also depicts that different essential composition of the American nation from the media, congress and the independent judiciary which are supposed to propel the country into greater heights of democracy have failed the country (Gore, 2). He shows that the democracy level of the country has been failed not only by the policies of President Bush at the time but by the people in general. There is need people to utilize the free speech and the judiciary to make sure that they check and balance the decision and policies that are made in the political field rather than sleeping on their rights (Massaro, 12). Gore shows that the democracy of the nation is in danger form the changes in political and all spheres of the American environment. Gore shows that public discourse is one of the tools that have lost its path in demonstration of the democracy (Gore, 6). He argues that the 2001 polls depicted that Saddam Hussein was responsible for the 9/11 attack but in 2007 still half of the American people believe that he is connected to the attack (Gore, 3). He also suggests that the American airwaves have been corrupted in such a way that the case of the O.J Simpson trial was a mere serial obsession of the media power houses rather than promoting good sense (Gore, 3). The media has been in high obsession of many things such as the bizarre death of six year old Jon-Benet Ramsey. The high coverage hours of the cases which was still even in documentation of the articles suggests that the media has been blinded. The American watchers were tied to watching a series of events from trials, and other med ia stuffs that are of lesser relevance in building the nation (Gore, 5). The media focuses too much on petty things in the society today rather than majoring in things that affect the democracy and building of the nation. This poses as a threat to the nation. There is lack of reason by many blocks especially the media in driving democracy to people doors (Kellner, 25). Gore also argues that there is ignorance in terms of making decisions that involve going to war or seek peace (Gore, 5). He demonstrates that there is lack of debates so as to project the consequences of the decision that people make either in the judiciary or bin the congress. Decisions that involve invading a country a crucial and thus there is need to make a lot of consultations and deliberations before executing the idea. Gore suggests that the senate has been one of the tools that have led to the fall of the nationââ¬â¢s democracy (Gore, 5). The senators are involved in many fundraising projects rather than being in their stipulated place where they can debate the essential things of the nation. He depicts that the time that Senator Byrd description of the senate on crucial matter of the war was met in abnormal state since most of the members were indulging themselves in projects that will lead to their reelection (Gore, 4). In the eve of war there was lack of better indulges of all of members in making the decision. This demonstrates how they have fallen behind in making decisions that will drive the country into a more democratic zone (Gans, 11). America was built from diverse cultures thus there is need to involve the various people and many sections of the institution of government sphere should be involved in the execution of democracy in the nation (Gans, 4). The media especially the television has fallen to impact the people but rather has focused on seeking attention. The television was supposed to overtake the printing media and therefore its greater influence was supposed to increase the value of democracy (Kellner, 21). Gore suggests that the concept of governance can be bought by many people vying for the seats in the governance (Gore, 10). He shows that the various ads and the opinion polls have shifted the democracy of the country through promotion of wealthy members of community rather than visionary ones (Gore, 12). The television has been very influential in dividing many people through the publicizing the public opinions sampling which has been based on propagandas. The public forum has decayed so much that th e manufacture of consent has emerged in the American sphere where it was expected to have died from the past prediction (Gore, 14). There is need for the public forum to establish accountability of the government to the people (Gore, 10). The market place of the ideas is characterized by the market place being open to ideas from everyone, dependency on meritocracy and the fact that the participantsââ¬â¢ unspoken duty was enriched for agreement (Parks et al, 2015). In conclusion, various medium of spreading information have existed in the American world. The printing press was the most common form of media in the American world but the television has overtaken it. These medium is essential in the promotion of democracy but there is falsehood in most public forums where the element of propaganda in public opinions has stretched the democracy of the country to its bottom. The people of America have failed the country from the ruling class, the judiciary, common public and media. There is need to put focus on things that will enable the development of the democracy of the nation rather than things that seek the attention or promoting re-election in member of states. People should not allow fear to overcome reason in the exercise of democracy.

Whaling One of the Big Issues in the World Free Essays
Whaling Whaling is the hunting of whales and it is one of the big issues in the world. Japan is one of the pro-whaling countries and a majority of the Western countries are objecting to Japan. However, this essay would like to insist that whaling is a part of the Japanese rural traditional culture, so it is important for some Japanese people. We will write a custom essay sample on Whaling: One of the Big Issues in the World or any similar topic only for you Order Now Therefore, the essay support the idea that whale hunting should not be prohibited. This essay aims to tell people who do not know about Japanese whaling well that the true Japanese attitude toward whaling is very different from what they imagine, and o clear up an opponentââ¬â¢s misunderstanding of it. What are the motivations for whaling in Japan? What are the social implications of whaling in Japan? I will answer to these questions. First of all, the biggest reason why a lot of countries oppose whaling is that whales are endangered species. However, the truth is Japan is hunting adequate numbers concerning the numbers of whales to prevent them from becoming extinct. In the world, it is said, ââ¬Å"there are 84 species of whalesâ⬠and ââ¬Å"out of all of the 84 species, only a limited number traditionally have been hunted, such as blue whales, fin whales, inke whales, humpback whales, sperm whales and gray whalesâ⬠Oapan Whaling Association). According to Gardiner, ââ¬Å"When whales were over-hunted, species such as blue whales and right whales were reduced to very low population levels, but these species now have been fully protected for decades ââ¬Å"(21). Then, Japan is not hunting these species and strongly believes that they should continue to be protected. On the other hand, there are species which are abundant enough that marine management is needed, â⬠such as the Antarctic and northwestern Pacific minke hales and northwestern Pacific Brydeââ¬â¢s whalesâ⬠Oapan Whaling Association). Gardiner also said that ââ¬Å"there are three times as many minke whales as there were 30 years ago, and humpbacks are increasing by 17 percent a yearâ⬠(21). Actually, for example, ââ¬Å"Antarctic minke whales are hunted 850 out of 442,000 by Japan, and this amount is only 0. 2% of 442,000â⬠Oapan Whaling Association). Thus, thanks to the advanced use of computers, we can obtain precise and clear data of the numbers of whales, so IWC, The International Whaling Commission, is the global ntergovernmental body charged with the conservation of whales and the management of whaling, can determine appropriate numbers of whales to catch quotas on a stock by stock basis. Therefore, Japanese whaling will not harm the health of the whale populations. No whales have ever been hunted to extinction, nor will they be. Then why is Japan still hunting whales in spite of being opposed by many countries? It is because hunting whales and eating their meat is the Japanese traditional culture. Japanese people have been living with whales from prehistoric age until now. During this long history, whaling culture such as songs, dances, and traditional crafts have begun through whaling. On the other side of the coin, Japanese people have received benefits from whaling. In fact, there is a faith in whales which is for holding a memorial service for whales by way of warning because Japanese people know that taking their lives is a really serious matter. Peace said that ââ¬Å"the Japanese do not attach the same significance to the whale as Westerners do because of the way it is culturally categorizedâ⬠(7). Then, ââ¬Å"the whale falls into the ategory of fish rather than mammal: the character for Whaleââ¬â¢ has two parts, the first being the sign for a fishâ⬠(Peace 7). Therefore, it also shows clearly that there is a big cultural difference between Japan and Westerners, and it is very difficult to bridge the gap. Morishita also argued that ââ¬Å"Japan, with limited grazing land and adherence to Buddhist teachings that prohibited eating of land mammals, has long resorted to the oceans to supply its animal protein. This is why we consider our food culture a ââ¬Ëseafood cultureââ¬â¢ in contrast to the European and USââ¬â¢ cattle cultureââ¬â¢. â⬠We recognize hat there are diverse food cultures in the world, and some people only accept eating of pigs and cattle while others regard eating animals as normal, so eating whales is almost the same for Japanese too. Whale dietary culture has begun from ââ¬Å"around 1952, whale meat was officially included in school lunch-boxes nationwide, staying there for a couple of decadesâ⬠according to Blok (56). Consequently, older generations in Japanese society widely share memories of eating the meat of whales during childhood. It is said that ââ¬Å"Japanese dietary habits have changed drastically, with beef, ork and chicken, taking over and whale-meat all but disappearing, then whale-mean has become a highly ââ¬Å"selectâ⬠food, usually enjoyed at special occasions or at specific whale cuisine restaurantsâ⬠(Blok 56). Thus, whale-meat eating became more special, traditional, and valuable action for Japanese, so this tradition should be passed down the generations. Some people might say that Japan is the only country, which is hunting whales, but it is wrong. Actually, Norway, Iceland, and Alaska are hunting whales too though, ââ¬Å"Japan seems to take the blame for all the whaling in the worldâ⬠(Gardiner 21). He also continued to say ââ¬Å"Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Canada take twice as many whales as Japan. Yet the Japanese are seen as taking more than everyoneâ⬠(Gardiner 21). It means that maybe the argument of whaling is almost the one-way conversation and other countries ignore a Japanese insistence. Gardiner also said ââ¬Å"many articles written on whaling in major Western magazines seem to have an anti-Japanese bias and such media have manipulated various governments over the years into believing that the majority of New Zealanders oppose whalingâ⬠(22). Therefore, unfortunately this makes people get the wrong mpression of Japanese whaling. For preventing this, the media must report opinions of the both sides about whaling and have to stick with a neutral position, so that people also can understand there is a big cultural difference. Whaling is very controversial issue in the world and it is very difficult to say whether that action is right or wrong, because, needless to say, there is a difference in values between the pro-whaling and the anti-whaling communities. However, this essay aimed to dispel the misconception about Japanese values toward whaling and understand their point of view. Then the research supports the idea that whaling should not be banned, because some species of whales are not endangered and furthermore, Japan knows very well about how many whales they can hunt without threatening them with extinction and the country also protects endangered species. In addition, eating whale-meat connects to the Japanese tradition and Japan considers whales as fish compared to Western countries as mammals. Therefore, the essay would like some people to know that these truths and not be manipulated by the biased media. Japanese whaling nas social implications, such as culture, tood, and employment. Some people live because the Job of whaling, so if it is banned, they would lose their jobs and some young people have to leave their town, because they would not be able to get a Job. Therefore, whaling is important for Japan so should not be banned. Furthermore, it is important to educate the Western world about this topic, because there are many values in this world, so people must not to be biased when they think about a world issue. Then discussing and exchanging views of the both sides with each other not by attacking mentally and physically would also create cross-cultural nderstanding. Know Your Audience Well Having a clear picture of your target customer before you create any content will ensure your content has more power to engage and convert. But most businesses still fail to address this. According to the latest report from the Content Marketing Institute, only 42 percent of content marketers are taking the time to actually talk with customers to understand their needs. What problems do potential customers have? What kinds of content do they really crave? Why are they hesitating to buy your products and services? What are they telling your sales team? What are they saying about your business on social media? To get the answers, conduct customer surveys via email, talk to customers on social media, and ask your team members for customer feedback. You can then focus on creating the kind of content that is more likely to attract and retain customers. 2. Know your Goals When you know what you want to achieve with your content, itââ¬â¢s much easier to come up with content formats and topics that support your goals. You might focus on one or two goals, such as: Building trust with your audience. Attracting new customers. Solving customer problems. Highlighting product benefits. Building customer loyalty. Developing new business ideas. For example, to show how you can solve customer problems, create a case study. To develop new business ideas, create an email survey. Focusing on these goals will also help to improve your search rankings. 3. Include Calls-to-Action (CTAs) Itââ¬â¢s easier to craft engaging CTAs when you know your marketing goals. Whether itââ¬â¢s a short blog post or long white paper, try to include at least one CTA to encourage readers to take action that supports your objectives. For example, offer a free product guide in return for an email address, or encourage users to find out more about a product by clicking through to a separate landing page. 4. Create Truly Valuable Content Before you create any content, ask yourself: Is it useful to my target customer? Is it interesting and informative? Is it entertaining? Is it inspiring? Is it shareable? Producing valuable content can be difficult, but if your content can fulfil these objectives, itââ¬â¢s more likely to generate traffic, attract leads, and fuel sales. Use storytelling and statistics to strengthen the credibility of your content. In todayââ¬â¢s crowded online marketplace, ââ¬Å"averageâ⬠content is no longer good enough. 5. Be Original and Authentic Donââ¬â¢t fall into the trap of copying content from competitors, as this could damage your SEO power and reputation. Create content that your audience canââ¬â¢t find elsewhere. Talk about what youââ¬â¢re passionate about and stick to issues that are relevant to your niche audience. Then, you wonââ¬â¢t be competing with similar content. Consumers also recognize authenticity and this will immediately boost your credibility. 6. Get Blogging If youââ¬â¢re regularly churning out high-quality content, you might be surprised at how many more leads you get. Businesses with blogs receive 67 percent more leads than those without. This is why so many successful businesses publish regular blog posts aimed at their core audience. They attract more qualified leads, increase brand credibility, and build customer loyalty. Tip: Update older blog posts with fresh information to increase their SEO power. 7. Use the Right Tone of Voice Defining your brandââ¬â¢s voice is an important step in developing your brandââ¬â¢s identity and marking you out from the competition. Does your brandââ¬â¢s personality come across in your content? Whether itââ¬â¢s serious and businesslike or fun and friendly, make sure the tone you choose matches your brandââ¬â¢s uniqueness and then keep the tone consistent across all online channels. 8. Diversify Investing in content is more profitable in the long term if you diversify, just like investing in stocks. Put your resources into a range of content formats and deliver content to a number of channels that reach different sectors of your audience. Some projects will be more successful than others, but they can all achieve different marketing goals. 9. Incorporate Visuals A diverse content strategy should include visual content, especially with the growth of visual platforms such as Instagram. There are various benefits to visual content: It grabs attention. It stirs emotions. Itââ¬â¢s more shareable. Itââ¬â¢s more memorable. It communicates ideas quickly. According to one study, understanding of information increases from 70 percent to 95 percent when images are introduced. So, for informational content, visuals can be an essential tool to aid understanding. Use photos, graphics, videos, cartoons, memes, or graphs to improve comprehension and make content more memorable. 10. Find Your Place on Social Media Most businesses understand the value of social media for building brand loyalty and driving web traffic. In 2018, 77 percent of Americans had a social media profile. However, unless you have unlimited time and resources, you canââ¬â¢t be on every channel at once and expect great results. If youââ¬â¢re a smaller business, focus on just one or two to begin with. Seek out the channels where your target market is most active and where content engagement is highest. 11. Promote Itââ¬â¢s one thing to create great content, but it will have no value if no one sees it. This is where a consistent promotion strategy comes in. To make sure your content gets in front of the right people, send out emails to your subscriber list, post links to new content on social media, and include share buttons at the end of every new piece. Even if you have a relatively small marketing budget, itââ¬â¢s definitely worth considering investing in paid promotion to make content more visible online. Paid ads may not directly affect search rankings, but they can help your content reach a wider audience. Also, searchers who have seen one of your ads in the past may be more likely to click on your organic results in the future. 15. Ability to Preserve Food Essay Example
Ability to Preserve Food Essay Example Ability to Preserve Food Essay Ability to Preserve Food Essay 1 Introduction One of the major progresss in human history was the ability to continue nutrient. It was the requirement to adult male settling down in one topographic point, alternatively of traveling from topographic point to topographic point in the neer stoping Hunt for fresh nutrient. The earliest saving engineerings developed were drying, smoke, cooling and warming. Subsequently on the art of commanding these engineerings was developed. The work of Pasteur in the 19th century so made it possible to understand the existent manner of operation of saving techniques such as warming, chilling and freeze, supplying the footing for more systematic monitoring and control. The usage of assorted compounds such as salt and spices to continue nutrients was besides used in ancient times. Unfortunately, the gradual usage of a wider scope of chemicals for saving such as B or cumarine sometimes led to misapply. Consumers have developed some intuition of the usage of chemical additives, sometimes with good ground in such instances as antibiotics and stuffs such as hexamethyltetramine ( which during processing and storage develops into methanal ) . Consumers have fewer reserves about physical interventions, although one of the oldest engineerings, smoke, is now suspected of being carcinogenic. Another more recent physical intervention which is besides much under argument is irradiation. Many surveies have shown it to be safe and it has been approved for usage in nutrient processing in several states, e.g. , the USA, because it has proved to be the best manner to kill Salmonella and other infective bacteriums. However, irradiation of nutrients is non used in pattern in most states in Europe because of go oning consumer concerns about the safety of the engineering. Recent argument about saving techniques has focused on ways of continuing nutrients in a manner that is both safe but besides preserves the intrinsic nutritionary and centripetal qualities present in natural and fresh nutrient by understating the sum and badness of subsequent processing operations. This is why minimally processed nutrients have gained such great popularity, although they raise new safety hazards. As an illustration, they frequently rely on an effectual cold concatenation during storage and distribution to forestall microbic growing. This book describes both established and new saving methods which embrace biotechnology and natural philosophies. Both methods offer the possibility of continuing nutrient safely with a minimum impact on quality. The book describes the rules behind single saving methods, the nutrients to which they can be applied, their impact on nutrient safety and quality, their strengths and restrictions. It besides shows how single techniques have bee n combined to accomplish the duplicate ends of nutrient safety and quality. The book tries to depict a position quo of where we are in the development of nutrient saving techniques at the beginning of a new millenary, and some of the things we still necessitate to make.

ATS systems count the number of years of experience you have for the skills the company cares about. If you have ââ¬Å"project managementâ⬠listed in a bullet under a job where you spent 10 years, youââ¬â¢ll get 10 years of credit for project management. If you list it in a Skills list, youââ¬â¢ll get zero. So even if you have a separate skills list, be sure to include all your skills in your bullets as well! Whenever possible, put your keywords on page one and at the top of subsequent pages if any. They will be ranked higher in these locations. Thereââ¬â¢s no need to use every possible version of your keywords. ATS systems are so smart that a keyword search automatically finds all relevant words. For example, a search for ââ¬Å"RNâ⬠will also recognize ââ¬Å"nurse practitionerâ⬠and ââ¬Å"registered nurseâ⬠; a search for ââ¬Å"attorneyâ⬠will capture ââ¬Å"lawyerâ⬠and ââ¬Å"general counselâ⬠and ââ¬Å"GCâ⬠; and a search for ââ¬Å"finance executiveâ⬠will find ââ¬Å"CFOâ⬠and ââ¬Å"Controller.â⬠The systems are also smart enough not to count ââ¬Å"executive assistantâ⬠when searching for an ââ¬Å"executive.â⬠Abbreviations are okay. It doesnââ¬â¢t matter if you insert periods or not, and you donââ¬â¢t need to write things out if they are common. For example, either ââ¬Å"MBAâ⬠or ââ¬Å"M.B.A.â⬠is sufficient, without having to write out Masters in Business Administration. If a job description calls for expertise with a specific program, such as MS Word, list the specific program, not just MS Office. And remember to put it in your Experience, not just in a Skills list! FORMATTING TIPS FOR ATS-COMPATIBLE RESUMES You can use any font and style- bold, italics, shading, even white text. All will be read as text. You can submit your resume as a Word or PDF document. In a PDF, any information that is editable in a PDF editor will be read by an ATS system. Donââ¬â¢t use the columns feature. Period. Use tabs instead. And dont use text boxes. They wont be read. Tables are okay ONLY if they have only one row, and if the header and content are in the same column. Never use the format where you have your headers on the left and your content on the right. Hereââ¬â¢s an example of an acceptable use of tables: SKILLS Biopharmaceuticals ââ" ¾ CMOs ââ" ¾ Market Analysis ââ" ¾ Contract Negotiation ââ" ¾ Business Process Creation ââ" ¾ Manufacturing Operations ââ" ¾ Logistics ââ" ¾ Lean Manufacturing ââ" ¾ ERP ââ" ¾ Process Automation ââ" ¾ Quality Control SUMMARY Senior Tech Company Manager with 8 yearsââ¬â¢ experience in development, manufacture, informatics and licensing of biopharmaceutical equipment technology. Led transformation of small technology firm into mature business, negotiated licensing agreement with multinational ABC, and led due diligence during acquisition by $13B diversified industrial giant XYZ. Put your contact information in the main body of the document on the first page- not in a header! ATS systems do not read headers or footers. Itââ¬â¢s advisable to repeat your contact information in a header on the second page, which will not confuse the ATS but will appear nicely if a human prints out and reads the original document. If you have credentials, itââ¬â¢s okay to put them after your name as long as you precede them with a comma. The comma clues the ATS in that your name is complete. So write ââ¬Å"Brenda Bernstein, JD, CMRW,â⬠not ââ¬Å"Brenda Bernstein J.D., CMRW.â⬠Same applies with suffixes like Jr., Sr., or III. Charts and graphs will be ignored. If you have information you want to convey, thereââ¬â¢s nothing wrong with using a chart or graph as long as you also convey the same information in your bullets, which will be read. Use more space between major sections that you do between jobs. Be consistent! This will help the ATS figure out whatââ¬â¢s what and know when to look for a new job or a new section. Itââ¬â¢s okay to list company names, job titles, and dates in any order, as long as they are consistent. Click here to see a sampleà of an ATS-compatible resume. TIPS FOR ORGANIZING YOUR INFORMATION Donââ¬â¢t combine several sections together. Use just one word or phrase in each header, and keep them standard: Profile or Summary; Experience or Work History; Education; and Certifications. If you want to insert continuing education courses under the Education section, thatââ¬â¢s fine. A ââ¬Å"Skillsâ⬠section doesnââ¬â¢t have particular value but you can include one. Never omit the dates of your experience. The positions wonââ¬â¢t be read or counted for anything. If youââ¬â¢ve held more than one position at a company, list the company name multiple times- once for each position. Otherwise the ATS wonââ¬â¢t know how to read the information. One trick you can use is to put the company name in white text so itââ¬â¢s not visible; but if you do this, make sure to insert enough space before the white text that the ATS will know itââ¬â¢s a new position. As a general rule, unless specifically requested to do so, do NOT make the first page of your resume your cover letter. This advice seems not to hold true universally, however. I have a client who applied to a position through LinkedIn Easy Apply using this strategy, and she got a call for an interview the next day. If you have held many short-term jobs, combine them wherever possible. ATS systems are programmed to recognize job hoppers, and you donââ¬â¢t want to be one of them! If you think all these tips will result in an awkward resume that doesnââ¬â¢t look the way you want it to, never fear! You can have two versions of your resume: one ââ¬Å"presentationâ⬠version that you can hand out to people or email as an attachment to your network, and another version that you use to submit to online applicant systems. Is oral sucrose an effective method of pain relief for pre-term Literature review
Is oral sucrose an effective method of pain relief for pre-term neonates - Literature review Example Preterm neonates undergo several diagnostic procedures in the clinics and hospital, from vitamin K injection during the first hours after being delivered up to heel pricks for blood sampling to detect metabolic aberrations few days after being discharged. Some preterm neonates also undergo necessary resuscitation and ventilation to sustain and support life of premature vital organs. These situations warrant the administration of drugs and behavioral interventions like opioid analgesics, local and general anesthetics, sedative/ hypnotics, NSAIDS, and sucrose (Anand et al 2006, p. 11). While there are several researches performed to validate the efficiency of these agents in neonates, the issue on safety on the preterm neonates remains an active area of debate. In this review, research articles from journals in scholarly databases such as Cochrane databases and PubMed were evaluated and compared based on their relevant evidence on the practice of using oral sucrose in preterm neonates. Only the studies that utilized a randomized controlled trial designs were selected. The design and number of participants utilized in the studies will be considered and discussed in this paper. Moreover, the research articles are classified and covered under specific procedure often undergone by neonates. The Challenge of Pain Assessment New developments in the neurobiological, embryological, and developmental studies established that even the primitive forms of human life respond to noxious stimuli through a combination of distinct behaviors and physiological activity (Anand et al 2006, p. 9). Like adults, unnecessary pain and suffering of the fetus and the neonate need to be prevented to avoid short- term and long- term consequences (Haidon and Cunliffe 2010, p. 123). As with every situation, assessments always precede interventions even in the management of pain. In the actual clinic setting, the pain felt by the neonates are often overlooked as a normal pattern of their behavio r. For instance, neonates undergoing procedures in the clinics and hospitals like bladder catheterization, needle sticks, surgery, mechanical ventilation, and even the administration of intravenous antibiotics are expected to cry due to discomfort and pain. Because of the ubiquitous nature of pain in preterm neonates, clinicians may fail to address the suffering in minor procedures and fail to perform necessary actions (Porter, Wolf, and Miller 1999, p. 1). Failure to acknowledge the importance of alleviating pain in the preterm and term neonates can result to serious consequences in their neurologic maturation. Therefore, more sensitive assessment tools are needed to detect the level of pain in the neonates and to validate the intervention researches in pain relief. Currently, specific tools consider multidimensional features associated with pain like cry behavior, grimace, quality of sucking, and physiological outcomes (Vani, Nimbalkar, and Thakre 2009, p. 200). Neonates may show different spectra of crying depending on each situation (Belliene et al. 2004, p. 142). Unlike adults, pain assessment of preterm neonates rely on these signs rather that an actual description and quality of pain (Lawrence et al. 1993). Although several researches were conducted to minimize the unnecessary pain, the assessment of pain in preterm
